Our entire Government is a scandal and I think it will get real bad in about two years.
They can not keep up the spending without major tax increases. I could go on and on but I have to go to work today but I will continue this later on.

i agree, the economy is i=on the brink of collapse
china and Russia are the foremost superpowers

alcohol is still legal, when the plant we started this country on still is not.

people still blame other people for the problems they have.

and everybody thinks because we have a black prez we are still being punked.

i just want to know how long before EVERYONE can admit are country is failing, and there is NO easy way to fix it

why do you think cigarettes are 6:50 a pack in Colorado(thanks stimulus boost)
all they are doing is raising the riches taxes, and changing the price of everything that poorer people (and everyone for that matter) buy (gas,smokes,liquour,insurances,housing,food, etc)

i really don't see where this money is going, i never recieved the first stimulus boost, and i doubt i will see the second one

i am an unemployed(as of the moment) white 23 year old male, i pay into funds i will never see(medicaid/care, social security, schooling) and honestly, it is hell for me to live here, all i want is a job, all the employers want is to have bilingual employees(does not matter what language, the fact this is a requirement is BULL)

i feel i am spending my younger years paying for a country that might provide for me for the next 4 years, TOPS!

I think there are some that will never admit that Obama has or is failing. I actualy think there are some that want the USA to fail so they can hurry up the Socialism in the USA.

because i am a young white male who grew up in a broken family whos was never taught any better, and thought that things might be better in a "fair, equal" society.

and honestly i am Very scared, i have no work, no money, family who has no concept of such, and an overwhelming fear that now, at 24 years old, that this i the best i am going to get...

Never give up on yourself.You will go thru life with the ups and downs the secret is to ride out the downs but not to go down with them and when things are good you try to keep the same life style.
I am confident that you can find a job, and when at the interview you have to sell yourself, its ok to do that. You might have to start at the bottom and work your way up but it can be done. In the last 10 years I have made over $100,000 a year and also have had a $7.50 an hr job and I am proud for both of those. Think positive and you will be fine. Its up to you though to go out and get a job. What skills do you have?

i have quite a few skills, i have worked a few jobs. but the job i was working for recently(painting) isn't really a strong market right now.
The one thing i really think i am good with(computers) i never went to school for, and now i am in a situation where i could not even be able to pay for anything where i could learn/train/school for a better job.
and the worst part is i never even graduated high school because of a really bad personal situation, i got about 4 months away from graduating my senior year and then BAM....
and i have never even been able to get my ged due to erratic work schedules, unemployment, and other unforeseen circumstances.
And all this has been going on for a period of about 4 years.
sometimes i just feel really unlucky(it feels better than blaming my problems on other people)
i really wish that my schooling and my parents would have prepared me better for this.

i actually have a job interview tomorrow with a place that i never thought i would work, it kinda came at me out of he blue, and i am glad i found it, im trying to keep things together the best i can, but as you all probably know, times are tough right now for everyone, even if it is a small problem, to that person it could mean everything.

i guess the worst part of all of this i guess is trying to still understand that i don't have the worst of everything right now, and i guess trying to stick through this right now will make me a stronger person in the long run.

did not get a chance to go to the interview today, i am going tommorrow, it snowed pretty bad this morning here, so i rescheduled.

i did happen to find another job so i am going to try for 2 at once. i got a call for donation collectors for childrens cancer camps and i fgured it might be a fun and rewarding job. i have training for that on saturday.

im just hoping i will be able to figure out monetary and transportation issues next

Like Sweet Pee said "Never give up" As long as you are trying the good people out there will see this and reward you. Im sure with some thought you can figure out any transportaton issues you have.
